Community Programs
Our congregation offers programs for the community at large. In the past, we have welcomed Broadway stars, such as John Treacy Egan, Brennyn Lark, Mia Pinero, Jelani Remy, Teal Wicks and Stephen DeAgnelis, political leaders such as General David Petraeus and Reince Priebus, comedians, rabbis, clergy, scholars, authors and more. We believe in learning more about our world and challenging ourselves with new ideas. We also relish in enjoying ourselves and being entertained. The vast majority of these programs are free to the community.
The Enrichment Committee hosts a Sunday Film Series with film historian Phillip Harwood, which takes place in our social hall with brunch and a movie.
We also the host one evening of the Oyster Bay Music Festival, in which we are included as one of the most beautiful, intimate, and storied venues along the Gold Coast of Long Island. The festival’s mission is to present awe-inspiring classical music performances, which showcase exceptional prize-winning local musicians in both beautiful and unique venues, creating an intimate and immersive experience for our community to share.
