Becoming a bar or bat mitzvah is a highlight of a young person’s Jewish journey.  At our congregation, we never have double or triple b’nai mitzvah services.  Every child deserves to shine on his/her own.  The rabbi, cantor, and tutor make sure that the student leads the congregation in prayer, reads from the Torah, and delivers a sermon with confidence.  Families often share how joyful the service feels.  The rabbi is involved in this process every step of the way not only to support the family but to enhance the experience for the child.
