Our Mission

Congregation L’Dor V’Dor is a warm and vibrant synagogue serving Long Island’s North Shore. It offers a destination where families can gather together to pray and learn, celebrate Shabbat and holidays and mark the rhythms of their lives. It is an intimate community committed to rekindling the joy of Jewish living and renewing the teachings of Torah.

L’Dor V’Dor is a Reform synagogue, combining ancient teachings with contemporary values. We strive towards prayer that is inspiring and participatory, thoughtful and meaningful, and of course filled with music and song.
