Like every organization, we are continually adapting to the changing circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Following NY State guideline - First and foremost, we place the Jewish value of pikuach nefesh, the saving of life, at the forefront of our concerns. We are therefore going above and beyond the guidelines of New York State health authorities, cleaning the building regularly and holding only small group in person bar/bat mitzvah services.
Most important ware innovating new and different ways of staying connected with our congregants, offering learning opportunities on Facebook, Shabbat services on Zoom, and even virtual Saturday evening concerts.
Despite the requirements of social distancing, the hallmark of our synagogue community remains loving personal connections.
